aussie sapling

This little sapling is an Australian Bush Rose, or Eucalyptus Macrocarpa growing in Japan, so it's a long way from home, much like me. I'm proud of this little fella as I grew it from a seed. He also had a sibling, but I managed to kill that one, so I am trying very hard to take care this time. I have found with other plants I have grown from seeds that the bugs here can be a big problem....if you're not watching most days you can come back and find nothing left...I guess Aussie plants are rather exotic delicious food for bugs here...*roll eyes*. Anyway, I'm watching!!!
